What patients ask before booking
Can I ask to see a specific dentist?
Yes. There is a “Preferred doctor” field on the booking form, and you can also tell us on the phone. We will schedule you with that dentist whenever their calendar allows, and we will tell you up front if the first available appointment with someone else would be sooner.
Do I need a referral to see a specialist here?
No. Our periodontist, endodontist and prosthodontist treat patients in this office, so a gum graft, a root canal or a full-mouth reconstruction does not mean being sent across town to a practice that has never seen your chart. Your general dentist and the specialist work from the same records.
Are your specialists board-certified?
Dr. Robert Weishoff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which he earned in 2010. Dr. Sunitha Sirivolu is board-certified in craniofacial pain and in dental sleep medicine. Each doctor’s training and certifications are listed in full on their individual page.
Who will I see at my first visit?
A new patient exam is with one of our general dentists. If what we find calls for a specialist, we bring the right one in rather than handing you a referral slip — and you meet them here, in the same office, with your x-rays already on the screen.
